The Process

Book a consultation with our bridal designer to explore your wedding-dress vision.
Together, we’ll review your design inspirations, key gown elements, and the style you have in mind. You’ll also have the chance to try on sample dresses to discover which silhouettes you love and which shapes best complement your figure. From there, we’ll guide you through fabric options to bring your custom bridal gown to life.

Our designer will then sketch several bespoke design concepts for you to consider. Once we collaborate to finalise the perfect design and select your preferred fabric, we’ll secure your order with a deposit and begin the creation process.

Your initial fitting focuses on perfecting the silhouette and addressing essential fit details such as neckline, waist, and length.

If needed, a second fitting is scheduled to refine intricate details and ensure the structure of your bespoke gown is developing beautifully.

Next, you’ll try on your partially constructed gown, where we adjust the fit, refine the shape, and make any necessary alterations to ensure flawless comfort and movement.

During the final fitting, we perfect every detail—embellishments, trims, finishing touches, and hem length once you have your wedding shoes. This step ensures your gown fits impeccably and reflects your unique style.

Finally, it’s time to collect your one-of-a-kind wedding dress, custom-made to your measurements.

Timelines

We recommend a six-month to one-year lead time for custom bridal gowns to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. If your wedding date is sooner, shorter timelines may be possible—simply get in touch to discuss your options and availability.

Consultations & Fittings

Consultations can be held in person at our Albany bridal studio or conducted online to review your inspirations, ideas, and preferred styles.

While fittings are ideally completed in person, we can also provide toiles or sample garments for virtual fitting consultations. With someone to assist you with pinning, we’ll guide you through all necessary adjustments to achieve an accurate fit.

Costs

A custom bridal gown is often comparable in price to many ‘made-to-order’ wedding-dress styles. Costs vary depending on design complexity and fabric choice, and a confirmed price will be provided after your initial consultation once the final design is agreed upon.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your order. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments during fittings or settled before collecting your completed gown.

Please note: Gowns cannot be released until full payment has been received
